Research ProjectFatigue and corrosion-fatigue behavior of 13Cr-4Ni steels and additively manufactured alloys, for application to large size components such as hydraulic turbines and machineries
As a member of a multidisciplinary project, including Canadian and Italian universities and industries, the specific objectives of this first part of the project are the characterization of polarization curves and determination of the electrochemical properties of stainless steel in different media. Aiming at the understanding of corrosion behaviour of such stainless steel. |
